Eric Pulier

Eric Pulier is a serial entrepreneur, primarily in technology and media related ventures, and is known as one of the more successful and prolific technology entrepreneurs in Southern California. In 1997, the Presidential Inaugural Committee selected Mr. Pulier to create and execute the Presidential Technology Exhibition in Washington D.C. Subsequently, the President and Vice President personally unveiled his company’s work for the Starbright Foundation, a pioneering effort that connected 70 hospitals together around the country in a video-enabled online virtual world for children.

He is perhaps best known in Southern California for Digital Evolution, a company that became one of the best known Internet companies in the region in the late 1990s before merging its consulting operations with an East coast firm to form US Interactive in 1998 and going public on NASDAQ. Subsequently, Mr. Pulier founded SOA Software, an organization that he built into the largest independent software company in its category, counting over 200 of the Global 2000 as customers and running over 6 billion transactions/month around the world.

Eric founded or co-founded over fifteen companies, and has raised over 500 million dollars for these initiatives, including recent ventures such as MediaPlatform, Desktone, ProElite, Stateless Compute Corp, Santa Monica Capital, and SOA Software. Most recently, Mr. Pulier founded and is CEO of ServiceMesh, Inc., a fast growing company operating in the U.S., Australia, Europe, and Canada that provides a comprehensive enterprise platform for the new Agile IT operating model, or what is also popularly known as a cloud computing operating model.

Eric Pulier is the author of a noted book on Service Oriented Architecture, and a popular public speaker at premier technology conferences around the globe.

He is a member of the board of directors for the Center for Telecommunications Management in Los Angeles and the Executive Director of the Enterprise Cloud Leaders Council or ECLC. The ECLC is a leading consortium of some of the largest companies in the world, who are joining together to accelerate and influence the emerging cloud computing landscape. ECLC members include such companies as Deutsche Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Diageo and others. The ECLC's mission is to collaborate with the most influential IT suppliers (such as IBM, HP, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, etc.) to increase standardization, liquidity and transparency in the next generation IT landscape. Mr. Pulier is also a member of former President Bill Clinton's Clinton Foundation Clinton Global Initiative. CGI is a non-partisan organization that convenes global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing problem.
